The average width of Mallorca’s Greenway is 4 metres, and it has 6 rest areas supplied with benches, tables, bike racks and garden areas to rest. Along the route, more than 15,000 shrubby plants and around 4,800 trees have been planted, including pines, wild olives, Holm, oaks, banana trees and mulberry trees.
All these actions have allowed the recovery of more than 26,000 square metres of wooded areas, as well as the creation of 6 own plant communities. In addition, several water points have been established in order to conserve all this biodiversity.
Tourists will be able to visit different environmental interpretation centres, located at Sant Llorenç, Son Servera and Artà stations. You will also find several information panels along the route about the fauna and flora of the area.
